A2 - The Story So Far

So far in A2, my blogging has been going rather well, although I'd say the quality is not as good as in AS. I've received a fair bit of criticism thus far concerning my blogging style, which I'd definitely consider very sarcastic and light hearted, and in some ways sassy which I personally feel gives my blog a sense of personality, setting it apart from the other bland, similar blogs that are common in both features and linguistic capabilities.

My blogging, apart from a brief spell at the beginning of the year has been up to date and I've had no problems meeting the deadline set, which is the biggest deal at the moment, and I believe that I am going to be able to maintain this deep into the project. Although, if there were one thing I would change I think it would be how long my posts are, due to the fact that although I have little difficulty getting my points across, I generally have trouble fleshing them out and often resort to using padding and so much filler that it turns into a Michael Bay movie.

I think I can better at this by planning my posts out far in advance, which is something that would not only let me get an idea of what it is I want to say, but also an idea of ordering, length, pictures I intend on using and also how I am going to phrase things. I will try this out in the next stage of the A2 blogging process and hopefully there will be at least some substantial progress in the quality of blogging in comparison with last year.

As a whole I'm very happy with the project, I like my group and I think our idea is very good, if a little out there, I know we'll be able to do the idea justice on camera. I'm not a big fan of our song choice but I think that will help me get more invested in the project because I can focus more on the music video side of it, than just sitting down and enjoying one of my favourite songs. I also like the Arctic Monkeys' style clothes wise and I think it would work well for a music video, being easy to attain but also looking very convincing on camera.
