Today in our lesson, we have been facing one recurring problem. We've pulled a Titanic and are having syncing issues for the first time. In a wide variety of areas we have seen both the singing all three instruments, primarily the drums, going out of sync.
We have fixed this in a variety of ways, first of all, the obvious was just to recut it so that Ellie hit the snare at the right time, but this wasn't always possible. On one occasion Ellie hit the snare too early; silly Ellie. This could have been a problem but we, being the intellectuals we are, sped up the footage so that the second hit of the snare was in time with the snare in the song itself.
We have gone through the entirety of the music video and ensured that there are no syncing issues, which proved to be very time consuming, but will be very important come the 10th December, when our music video is played for literally dozens of people.
