Reviewing Someone's Video and Probably Being Really Mean About It

Turns out I'm not going to be mean about it!

This video has great use of lighting and shoots. The shots are very intimate and has a great sense of style, which is brought across in the urban locations which are reflected by the girl's clothing. Her lip syncing is spot on for the most part, apart from a few mionr instances. They have slowed the video down for the effect it gives and it works very well, and looks very nice. It especially works well when there is no singing and the shots are of either the city and props or just the girl moving with her mouth closed, since it looks more fluent and it's harder to tell that an effect has been used.

I also found it very impressive how they  managed to shoot at night and still manage to get the lighting correct, since that is a very hard thing to do, because the lighting often comes out very badly as I have experienced myself, so I personally hope to be able to do shots like this at night, because I find it a challenge and their night shots make me feel like it can be done.

In conclusion, this is a very good music video, with my only gripe with the video being that some of the editing happened far too quickly, as I felt it was hard to take in what was going on as long as we were jumping from shot to shot before having the ability to see just where the scene is and what the shot is of and going to contain. I like the lighting and colours and also the style, so I commend it say jolly good show sir. I also feel that they used the right amount of base tracks and also the right shots at the right time which is vital, and they nailed it literally all the way through, especially with the tunnel shots and the city shots with the lights and buses, I feel it complimented the style of the video and as I whole, it is a very good music video.
