Digipak and Advertisement [Similar Genre's]

I have looked around for some digipak's for artists with the similar or same genre as our Indie Rock band.

I have chosen to do Kaiser Chiefs and Franz Ferdinand.

Kaiser Chiefs:
In this digipak we can see a very old and worn theme, the front and inside images are made to look like its written on old dirty paper that's been crumpled and around for a while, they also used a spinning wheel as their CD image which you don't see very often any more in kids games.

Also, the advertising poster is very simple, it shows the album cover the artists name as the biggest thing, then the album name after, it also shows the date to be released quite big which is normal for this genre.

Franz Ferdinand:

Similar to Kaiser Chiefs we see a very simple design, with the name of the album and the artist being the main focus of the pak, unlike in the Kpop genre where they focused on the arists face and images of the artist, so far I haven't seen this in albums in the Indie-Rock genre therefore I wont focus my own digipak on the artist, but on the album and name instead.

The advertisement is very similar to the front of the album to create synergy and so people know exactly what to look for in shops and online, this is very smart and typical in this genre.
