Diamonds In Cinema

So I was going through Michael Caine's filmography to see if there
was anything that caught my eye when I read the plot of his (2007) film Flawless.
The film is about a Diamond Heist (I don't want to spoil the plot if anyone bothers
to watch it) but a lot of the film shots mirrored what we had in our plan and final video.

As you can see here we don't have any shot like this but we do have opening shots introducing Stephen, so that's fantastic.

Here's the real stuff. Like the film we also bought diamonds and made sure that we had some close-ups to fully emphasise our heist.

Like our video, we had a safe. Obviously we couldn't get access to a safe like this one <-- but we did incorporate a safe which hopefully made the narrative look a bit more like we put some thought and effort into it.

Comparison to The Jewellers

As you can see; I've chosen some key shots in our music video to compare to the film shots in the trailer. These show that we have followed the classic conventions of a diamond heist but adding our own little twist on it ie. royal families

Here's the film poster:

(In case you got confused, the film poster is on the left. I made the one on the right in case we ever made a film which I think we would as The Jewellers are very ambitious)

Both flawless in their own way, you can see the use of diamond synergy from the plot, to trailer, to film poster.
Fantastic
